After all the improvement I've done on the move trailer, I can finally place it on the landing page.
Initially the video size would be like the first picture but then Brindha wanted it to be a larger scale video player.
But I did mention to her that from the Youtube player you can enlarge it by clicking on the button on the left corner.

The story of End of The Road

The Story (long version)

Starts off with the news from different channels talking about the outbreak of a virus, which was meant to cure cancer instead mutated into a lethal strain. This highly contagious virus has spread throughout the world, killing 90% of humanity. The remaining survivors become predatory beings known as Biters that prey on those who have not been infected. Some people who have not been infected have resorted to cannibalism due to the collapse of civilization. So far no one has been immune to the virus.

10 months later, shows a father coming back to his house after searching for supplies. Turns on his radio as usual and finally after months of hoping to hear someone’s voice, he hears a broadcast about a survivor’s camp in Texas.

Decides to pack what little things he has and sets off on a journey with his young son over a period of several months.

While exploring a large mansion, the pair discover prisoners in the basement; serving as a food supply for their absent captors. When four armed cannibals return, knowing that their discovery is imminent, the father acted fast and shot all of them, took his son and ran away. However, he only killed three of them and one was slightly injured. This cannibal decides to hunt down the father and his son and kill them.

When exploring a deserted supermarket, the father notices two Biters. The father told his son to run and hide while he fought of the Biters. After killing them, the man goes looking for his son only to find him lying on the floor bleeding and a dead Biter lying next to him. He was about to use the revolver he had on his son when he realizes that the son does not become one of the Biters. It turns out his son is immune to the virus.

During their trek, the father searches a ruined town hoping to find food and medicine. The father heard a sound and when he turned to look at his son, the cannibal from the mansion was holding a knife to his son’s throat. The cannibal told the father to put away his gun, which he held in his hand. While the father was going to lay the gun on the floor, his son bit the cannibal’s hand, resulting the cannibal to let go of the son. The son ran towards his father. Meantime, the father was about to shoot the cannibal before the cannibal came at him and attacked him with the knife. However, before the father shot him dead, he was stabbed in the right leg. The father coughs blood from time to time and eventually realizes he is dying; yet still struggles to protect his son from the constant threats of attack, exposure, and starvation.

A day was only left before they reached the survivors camp. However, the father succumbs to an illness. Before he dies, he tells his son the values of self-preservation and humanity. The boy holds wake over the corpse for days, with no idea of what to do next. On the third day, the boy decided to continue to the survivor’s camp. He finally reaches the place and was greeted by the survivor’s colony.

Assignment 2B – Group Project to produce packaging & premium designs

Merchandise for SHOP page on microsite

I designed the shop layout page. 

The layout is similar to the rest of the pages for the microsite which has image, text and background image together. 

The colour tone, saturation and brightness levels are also similar. 

Here there is a textured background. This page is slightly brighter than the other pages to contrast with the merchandises. 

The descriptions and prices are from comparing the different types and prices from other online shops.

Game Trailer Progress

My first attempt.
Colour is not consistent with the other pages.
It's too green and looks like an action game instead of a survival game.
Zombies are not really visible.
You only see the hand of the character as it is a first person game.


See the navigation radar on the left top corner.
The Green dots represent the players (Father & son)
The Red dots represent the Zombies.
N = North
B = Survival Camp
[why B? Because the story is about the characters journey from their home (A)]

HP = Health Points
AP = Armour Points
(If you run out of HP, you will die. But if you run out of AP, you will still survive)

See right bottom of game trailer.
RUSSIAN MACHETE is the name of the weapon the character is carrying.
1 AMMO means you only own one of these.
If it were a gun there would be more than 1 ammo.

See the middle of the screen.
That's a crosshair.
This cursor gives you an indication on where your weapon is aiming at.

Second attempt.
Colour is much better.
Zombies more visible and closeup.

So, after discussing with my group.
Brindha said that the second attempt's zombie looks like a monster rather than a zombie.
And the girl on the right looks like a halloween costume.
I told her i have her there to compliment the school bus.
So I changed it.
Replaced the monster and the girl with 2 zombies that are featured on the PC & XBOX game cover.

I like this unfortunately majority decided not to have it.

Lecturer said that the pic has to be edited more so I added a couple of zombies.
Still not good enough.

Concluded that I just had to remake the whole thing from scratch.
Compositions of everything are original.

After discussion with group mates, they said that the whole thing was a bit brighter compared to the other pages.
I told them that this is a movie trailer.
If it gets any darker than this there will be nothing to see.
So...again with the monster and the girl and the police man and all the zombies in front don't look real life.
Had to change them all. Group mates also said that burning building behind looks fake.

So...i took down the burning building and replaced it with a normal building.
Replaced all the zombies in front.
Did not change the brightness.
